Lake Varese hosts a great many regattas and world championship events, so athletes staying at the casbenat are genuinely well placed.
The lake is famous for its two clubs, at La Schiranna and at Gavirate. From here you reach both in a very few minutes by car. It is possible by bus as well, but that needs planning carefully.
