Big events near Milan

Several of the events people travel to Italy for are within easy reach of the house. Here is how we do it ourselves.

Milano Design Week — Salone del Mobile

Forty minutes by car from the casbenat. You can go by train, but note that you have to change at Varese Centro and take the state line.

Milano Fashion Week

You can reach any part of Milan comfortably by train. If you prefer the car, this is what we always do: leave it at the Lampugnano car park, which costs very little, and continue by metro. Very little hassle — but only if you are not coming back late at night.

EICMA and BIT

Forty minutes by car. By train, again, change at Varese Centro for the state line.

The San Siro stadium and the racecourse district are about forty minutes by car.
